Fear of the Headless Horsemen
I made this Sound Scape on the mental fear of Ichabod Crane running away from the Headless Horsemen. I put the set level high for the ambiance of the heavy breathing and running sounds of Ichabod, also adding in background noises of the autumn forest. For the sounds of the horse and the screams of anguish, I purposefully put them low on the set level and made them appear at random to play with the idea of a spirit. The Headless Horsemen can be heard to exist in and out of Ichabod's senses, as if the Horsemen is appearing in and out of existence. I also like that it could also indicate Ichabod's sanity, wondering if the sounds of the horses and screams are real or all in his head.
